Okay. Actually made a decent bit of progress on issue #5. It's another experimental format for me - telling the story in journal entries and file documentation, with occasional flashes of interaction.

Don't know if I'm doing well with it or not; I await the opinions of [livejournal.com profile] yendi and [livejournal.com profile] mousegrrl.

My only comment would be to be wary of too many experimental formats in a row. You need at least one, preferably two, issues of "standard" comic format between 'em to really make it flow well.

an experiement is part risk, part rejuvination. does the experiement fit with the flow of the story, or is it a bit clunky when taking the whole narrative thus far into account?
i say go for it. risk is always fun.
remember issue 25 of the old G.I. Joe comics. no words. and some hated it. i loved it.
