I have a seXXy Cartoon Network animator decorating my daughter's cake right now.

Me: "Having fun with your first time working in a new medium (frosting/icing/gel) yet?"
[livejournal.com profile] static_eddie, sketching with a toothpick: "Noooooot yet."

Working from the Dexter's Laboratory series bible, he's created a cool retro-future scientist-girl Elayna-character. Best. Cake. Evar. There will be pictures.

Whee! Unimaginable mompower.

I waited not-so-patiently maybe ten minutes today for the chance to talk to the Guy Who Orders Comics at my local and finally punted. I'll try it again, though. Us late orderers just create the illusion of STEADY DEMAND!

I just wonder if it's going to create this amazing demand for SSA#7, and then all these retailers are going to have extra copies, and wondering where all the SSA fans who were bugging them over the last issue have scattered to. The weird world of comics supply and demand.
