But of course this comes on a day when I've already got what I'm going to have to consider a writing prompt or I'm never going to do it: an assigned 300 word story on a blues musician I know nothing about. And, well, I'm not much of a blues fan. And that's putting it nicely.
Nice of work to give me something to do, though. And also something to whine about. Heh.
today, i wrote 1300 words about a college art collection. I shit you not. I will even email it to you if you don't believe me. i know less than nothing about art ... the whole thing was retarded.

But to answer your question, the musician in question was this guy named Monti Amundson with a very unhelpful website, whine, whine. I coughed out some fluff this morning, and resisted the urge to snark.
Stocking up on prompts, yes, there's an idea. Though I am the kind of girl already who buys lots of writing books, in fits of Grand Intentions, then looks at them on the shelf. Snort.
