Took a walk for the first time in weeks. Yes, weeks.
Wrote when I got back. :) Still in process, not ready for prime time. What's worthy of note is that my brain is coming back to something that I thought was a little throwaway bit that none of you would ever see.
Y'know how you do something that you think that no one will ever find out about?
Well, Alanna did, and Fenris just found out...
For those who've been reading me for a while, the prior storybit was the one that was bothering me to write, as in "I do not want things this fucked up in my brain".
It just... surprises me that I came back to it. I guess that this event matters to the story as a whole. I hadn't thought it did.
Oh, I forgot to eat dinner. I should do that.
EDIT: Huh. I think this might work better in comic form, simply because I'm dealing with the entire Talthar Kithrayna pluis a few people in one room all reacting off each other. The previous bit was just Alanna and one or two other people at a time. It drives me nuts that you effectively don't know that Kieran and Ryan are there til Fenris slams his hand down on the table and startles them into spilling their coffee. (Coffee abuse!) Except that the opening does pretty heavily imply that lazy-ass Jeramie is the last to arrive. But with comics, you can see alla that.
I guess I'm fussing over this here on LJ because some of the stuff I need to write is sorta woogie.
