I have about twenty posts in my head that I need to make, but can't yet.

Aaagh.

I can tell you about my day, though.

Work was bloody awful. *growl*

docorion took me to Watershed to feed me artisanal cheeses and a wild mushroom stew, which helped. Then, um, well, sex helped too. :)

But then we got a call from Adam - Elayna didn't have gardening club today after all, so we had to run out and pick her up...

...and she proceeded to throw a TWO-HOUR temper tantrum regarding her homework.

docorion stepped in when I was too frustrated to continue; she ended up finally doing homework without a problem.

And now we think we will go to Floataway Cafe to try to soothe my rattled nerves AGAIN.

Also? Tomorrow is Friday. Yay Friday.

Jesus I sympathize. We're going through that with Hokulani right now. We finally got her to buckle down and redo her writing assignment to the standard we know she can. But the drama.

Must be the moon or something. Andreu bitched for an hour about his writing journal. I finally had to threaten him with grounding and his father actually had to threaten to spank him. We never spank him, unless it's a serious offense.

Elayna lost three days' worth of TV time. "You just lost Friday. Want to do your homework? Or want to go for Saturday?"

She came close to losing her friend's birthday party on Saturday.

I sympathise. There must be something in the air. Sammy's gone from sweetest kid on the planet to bratface extrordinaire...and back again, for the past couplethree weeks. This is driving me somewhat insannnne. I hope the planets move or something. Soon.

This is why I highly approve of multiple-parent households.

I was a single parent for half Miss Kid's life. Even though I was married for part of it. Trust me.
