So. Immediately following my post yesterday, [livejournal.com profile] morenasangre and Farren showed up. We hung out for a bit and began to get concerned, at 6:30, by the lack of people showing up.... [livejournal.com profile] yendi made a sign for the door that gave directions to the restaurant, and just as he was headed to the door to tape it up, in poured [livejournal.com profile] mousegrrl, [livejournal.com profile] tikimama, [livejournal.com profile] melintur, [livejournal.com profile] ariadnesthread, [livejournal.com profile] two_star, [livejournal.com profile] podling, her friend Heather, [livejournal.com profile] astrophysicat, [livejournal.com profile] tanaise, [livejournal.com profile] chrisv, and [livejournal.com profile] deza. Got organized. Got out the door and bumped into [livejournal.com profile] rloveking and [livejournal.com profile] voltbang and Maddie. Got two more steps down the driveway, and [livejournal.com profile] stronae, [livejournal.com profile] darkmattr, [livejournal.com profile] adellyna, and [livejournal.com profile] edie22 pulled up. :)

So. Everyone got situated, and we walked over to the restaurant... I just kept looking behind me and laughing, as, I swear, the only other time I've dined with this many people was at my wedding! We took up three whole tables at the hibachi place. :) [livejournal.com profile] jet_li_wannabe and Thomas arrived at the restaurant shortly after we were seated. Grand total: 26 people, I think, I lose track.

Dinner was great as always; we detoured to Bruster's on the way back, but Some People were wimps and too full from hibachi to eat any ice cream. Which was their loss.

Then back to my place. I should point out that Elayna did a fantastic job of handling having all of these strangers around; she was really well-behaved, and very friendly, and she played peek-a-boo with Maddie to distract her when the fire upset her. So. My place. [livejournal.com profile] tikimama had gifts for everyone, yay! She gave me a book and a pair of boy-style panties emblazoned with "Try me, I'm yummy!" I wish I'd known so I could've picked up something for her...I gave [livejournal.com profile] stronae his birthday present from me, this shirt: https://www.thinkgeek.com/images/products/zoom/management-sql-query.jpg .

Hung out for a while. Played games. And as the party died down, I got all tarted up to go to another party and the 80s dance with [livejournal.com profile] stronae: short-sleeved white button-down cleavagey shirt, *very* short blue and black plaid skirt, white thigh-highs with bows on the front, and my Docs. [livejournal.com profile] tikimama braided my hair and lent me redder lipstick. :) So. Party went very well, and we moved on to the dance at 3something.... the dance was not so hot. For one thing, canned music; for another, I know it's a goth 80s dance, but did it have to be *pitch* dark? We were totally unable to see anyone. Which sucked, because we were looking for [livejournal.com profile] auryn29a, [livejournal.com profile] catalyxt, [livejournal.com profile] tikimama, and [livejournal.com profile] melintur. *pout* So we checked out the live music, which also sucked, and then went to look for [livejournal.com profile] god_dot_com's party. And [livejournal.com profile] bob_dot_com must be mad at me because I told him he was my bitch, because he gave us a nonexistant room number. Bitch. So we just bought a donut and came home. La.

So. I'm on, umm, 3-4 hours sleep. I'll be dangerous today. Dangerous, I tell you. And I wanna go to the real 80s dance tonight.

I think I'm going to need to go to sleep at like 5 PM on Monday to catch up... but I'm having fun!

Once we took over a morrocan restaurant with 76 people and Bucca di Beppo with 78.
The scary thing is that we been regularly having 20-25 people showing up at the Dim Sum gathering lately...
Glad that you're having fun. <*gryn*>

I personally didn't have any ice cream because it was cold out. Atlanta in summer, and it was cold. Despite [livejournal.com profile] chrisv's valiant attempts to be a blanket.

You're weird. :)
