July is coming up and, with July, the traditional date of the Blog-A-Thon.

Last year, the official Blog-A-Thon was cancelled, so I did it on my own - some of you did the renegade Blog-A-Thon along with me, and some of you participated in Project Blog.

Obviously, I want to do the Blog-A-Thon again. Yes, even through the exhaustion. Raising this much money for charity is Worth It.

In past years, I've raised money for The Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network.

This year, I'm switching charities. This year, I'll be blogging for The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, in memory of [livejournal.com profile] tx_db8r.

My dilemma, here...

Blogathon.org is back up as a site - but it's run by different people. I don't know how organized it'll be. And I've never worked with Project Blog.

Which do I choose?

I could go renegade again, but I'd really like to have this stuff managed for me; staying awake is task enough... anyone who worked with Project Blog last year have any input to offer?

Hmm, it actually says August 6th. By then I should be moved and have my computer and no job. Which means I could actually do it. I wonder whether I should? Problem is, pretty much nobody I know can afford to give to charity; there was a howl of protest when I raised the idea of my doing it last year. I wonder whether it would be worth it if I pimped myself on your and [livejournal.com profile] juuro's ljs?

I hope by then you are less exhausted and can do it yourself ... Aug 6 is a ways away, it can be done :-)

You know . . . it turns out that poor woman who is braindead and five months pregnant, the insurance is not going to pay for the hospitalization as they try to get the baby viable before the cancer crosses the placenta; they are trying to raise money on PayPal.

Do you suppose people who do have a bit of spare change (my friends don't) would sponsor me if I blogged for that family? By early August the race will have been won or lost, but the medical bills won't go away either way.

Opinion, oh nexus-wielder?
