Harvey Pekar and Dean Haspiel, together in a Vertigo book!

How splendiferous.

Note that neither Harvey nor Dean would ever use a word like "splendiferous."

I must admit, I'm not a comics geek.
(I still haven't read Sandman, but friends did get me into Gaiman's other books - Neverwhere, American Gods, etc)
But the name Warren Ellis sounded familar and Fell sounds amazing. Completely worth my time and investment...I look forward to it!

Pekar is working for DC now? *boggles*

Though I suppose there's a precedent, since DC is owned by Time-Warner, which also owns Entertainment Weekly (for which he's written a few strips) and HBO, which produced the American Splendor film. Harvey, man, you're workin' on Ted Turner's plantation now? Tch.

I don't think Harvey cares who he works for, as long as they don't tell him what to say.
