Going through old entries looking for character bios for the wiki. Re-found this. Still like it. *nod*

Also: Up to 22 character bios, but I know I haven't found all of 'em. Like, Kat and Alanna. And I know I have detailed descriptions of the Kirayth, the Council... Stupid LJ-memories being down. Grr, I say. Grr.

I was driving home from Vegas this weekend when I saw a sign for Halloran Summitt...and I wondered if that was one of your character influences?

Hee! Actually, no - never seen that. Halloran existed pre-Vegas. Vegas was '94. I first wrote him in '92.

Hee indeed! Off the 15:

And I guess people use the summit for good astronomical viewing. Makes sense. High up. Remote location and no ambient city light pollution with semi-easy road access.

I haven't read about Halloran. Is he into the stars?

If he is, he hasn't told me...

Find where you did the 14 girls in 14 days thing. I know Alanna's in there, but I don't think you managed to do Kat.

*hugs you* I take it you've just finished, because we randomly checked and memories appear to be back up.

Yay!

You need to get your journal backed up in a searchable form. Maybe [livejournal.com profile] yendi can set up ljsm for you?
Thursday, June 30th, 2005 05:23 pm (UTC)
No, no. It's a livejournal backup tool that's platform-agnostic: http://ryzh.kiev.ua/ljsm/index_en.html

Actually, I recall one of your future housemates (maybe [livejournal.com profile] beowabbit?) saying he had an LJ archive utility. It was on your entry about tags. That one may be better-suited to your needs; you should check. In any case, a backup tool that makes your entries available for easy searching is the ticket.

Speaking of searching, I've been using Copernic Desktop (http://www.copernic.com/) at work for a few months now to do searches, and I don't know how I lived without it. Any data that I can get into its clutches, I do.

It's a good piece. I like it.

I can relate to what Halloran's going through with that. There are things I don't want to know.

Thank you... *hug* I hate hearing crickets after posting something!

I remember first reading this, back when I thought you were Interesting, but hadn't yet met you. It was one of the things which promoted you to Quite Interesting, I Really *Must* Meet This Woman :-)

Hm. Really? Anything specific?

Well...she is at least comfortable with sexuality with a scene context (although I suspect I knew that already, it's one thing to have abstract knowledge, and quite another to see how your mind played with it), she can think like a boy enough to write the behaviour of two of them alone in a believeable manner...

That'll do to be going along with.

*makes note to show you porn*

See - THAT'S the sort of thing I love to hear. High praise - thank you, beloved.
