Q. Wow! You got some sun this weekend, huh?
A. Yes. Yes, I did.

Q. What did you do that you got so burned?
A. Well, I spent Saturday at my daughter's
school's Spring Fling... most of which was
outside. I followed this up by spending 5
hours in the direct, beating sun at the
Georgia Renaissance Faire (running now
through June 2nd!).

Q. Wow. Is Elayna sunburned?
A. No, I put sunblock on her.

Q. So why didn't you put sunblock on
yourself, if you already had the sunblock
out?
A. Short answer: Because I'm stupid. Long
answer: Because, due to 8 years in
Florida, I forgot that I burn in states
other than Florida and Nevada.

Q. So you're going to wear sunblock when you
return to the Faire next weekend, right?
A. Yes. Yes, I am. Thank you for your kind
concern.
