The usual. I've been active today since taking the meds, which helps stave off the worst of it, I think.

The Childperson
The childperson is sick. Pauvre the childperson, as docorion says. (I know that's not grammatically correct, but that's what he says.) So docorion and I are home with her. I plan to show him The Emperor's New Groove; he's never seen it.

Weekend
...was fantastic, and will be recapped later. For now, I must get back to laundry. The childperson's brand of sick involved impressive vomiting sk1llz. Poor childperson.

...really, one day was enough, re: dealing with the persistent smell and sound of vomit. This is like half a week now, between her and Adam. My poor babies.

I love that show. I made my bro-in-law buy it (by putting it in the cart). I'm hoping Kusco's New Groove will be as entertaining.

I hope the kidlet at least stops with the reverse peristalsis. I love the word peristalsis, though not in reverse.

It is a great word.

We went to the Grossology exhibit at our local museum, and she got to see how reverse peristalsis happens; she got to turn a wheel to agitate the stomach and... bleh!

And it's good to know she's Being Taken Care Of. She'll remember that. I still remember being sick one Christmas 20 years ago, and Mom setting me up on the couch in the living room with the tree lit and with a can of 7-Up at hand so I could get some soothing, stomach-settling caloric intake. I was warm and safe, and that made the sickness bearable.
