Simplify

I'm going through stacks of catalogs, because that actually is the #1 source of mess in my bedroom and bathroom right now; I'm making a list of the ones I'll want to request when I move, wishlisting the stuff I've been meaning to wishlist, and throwing them all out!

I'd wanted a particular plaque, but it appears to no longer be offered. *pout* So I'll reproduce the saying here, because I do like it. Maybe I'll make my own plaque. *nod*

It had a large feather on it, and it said:

slow down

imagine doing less

make time for loved ones

practice patience

learn to gently say no

increase your quiet time

follow your heart

yield to life

yield to peace

yield to joy

And it had "simplify" in ivory letters behind all of that.

I need reminders like this. I am not good at the doing less, at the yielding.
