Finished "Adventures in the Dream Trade" by Neil Gaiman at lunch today.
So I *had* to go to the bookstore, I did!
Bought "Pure" by Rebbecca Ray, which could be good or could be crap; I'm trying new authors. And bought "Random House's Book of 1001 Questions and Answers" for Elayna, who always loves learning random facts. And a present for poor sick
yendi, too.
The Druid Hills bookstore wouldn't be half as addictive if not for one thing: they appear to have only one copy of each book in their fiction section. If you pass it up, someone else will grab it, and you can't reorder. Shopping there is a zen kinda thing for me, as I'm limiting myself to one book per visit - I narrow it down to the one book that calls out to me most insistently, and if another book I noticed is actually still there next time, I grab it then, as I'm obviously meant to read it. Also, these appear to be, for the most part, books you just don't find in a Barnes & Noble. Big wall of matte trade paperbacks by people you've never heard of, one copy of each. And they all look good. :)

How's that Neil Gaiman book, BTW? I'm a big Gaiman fan, and I had never heard of that title...
