What my New Year's vacation with Spooky was like, in the Scholar's words:

...The background energy has abated somewhat. It still sings and jangles on my nerves. Not ordinarily that sensitive, this is like bathing in barely safe Hard Radiation - really high roentgen count. Last night the energy in this room reached near critical mass. Delightful, but you can't live in an atom smasher. Somehow, the three of us seem to have spontaneously created a bubble of near "no time".

He's continuing. I agree with his assessment, and am looking forward to seeing how he describes the rest of it.

I find it odd that he calls me by my legal name in these e-mails - but calls [livejournal.com profile] elionwyr, who he's known for years by *her* legal name, "Spooky" - the name that I gave her not long ago at all.

Now bed, truly.

Sleep well. Good thing I didn't try to call you at work this morning. I would've been sadly disappointed.

Hmmm... Maybe I'm a bit too much of a geek, but I find that kinda sweet, actually.

I think I'm getting soft in my old age. Or weird. One of those.

He's a good writer. Can we convince him to join our merry band?

She's tried, and I plan to put in a bid as well. :)

Yes! Please do!

(I need to reply to y'all's e-mails. I think I'm waiting for our dear professor to finish his lecture...)
