Terminal Invasion is a really bad movie. Like not even a so-bad-it's-good movie. Just bad. Cheapass ripoff of The Thing, but in an airport. With *really* bad plot and dialogue. Not even Bruce Campbell is saving this movie, people. It's that bad.

Whereas I kinda liked it, in a cheesy way. I wasn't expecting anything grand from it, and what I got was an enjoyable Bruce Campbell B movie.

Now I bet you're gonna say you liked _Signs_.

I would've liked it if it was a B-movie. I like B-movies. This was an F-movie.

I loved Signs. :)

Wow. I thought Signs was one of the worst movies I'd ever seen. I'll try to post a review today.

Ahhh, but is it MST3K-able? Or too bad even for that.

I think [livejournal.com profile] yendi could MST3K it. I couldn't sit through it, though...

That's pretty bad. o.o

All they do is pay as little as possible to string together productions they think they can make a marginal profit on. I think it's a business model for unambitious growth, but it leaves fans of science fiction consistently disappointed with their "work". They canned farscape, which was their only real worthwhile original production.

:) My favourite cheapass rip-off of the Thing is Leviathan. Kind of a cross between The Thing and the Abyss. Set underwater, on a deep-sea mining rig. Not all that bad, really--has a good cast, with Amanda Pays and Peter Weller leading. Problem is, it's like they took the final film and cut five or ten minutes from it--the part that explains everything.
