So I come back from lunch, and I feel pretty okay; the ache isn't bad, it's almost negligible. So when my boss asks me to run an errand across the street, I say sure and go. And, as I always do, I take the stairs.

Wasn't til the first landing that the pain hit. The pain apparently caused some physiological confusion, as well, because I was calling my hips assholes....

Yah.

And. Another oddity about me. My hands shake. All the time. You usually wouldn't notice this unless I was, say, holding a sheet of paper. It's a very mild tremor. But when I'm trying to do something that involves keeping my hands still, anything involving ultrafine motor skills, it gets worse. Reason this springs to mind is, I just had to let workmen into a few offices again.. and I get so self-conscious trying to steady one hand with the other just to get a key in a keyhole...

And I was looking forward to getting home, bellyflopping on the bed, and having the heating pad on my lower back. But then I remembered. Open House tonight. No rest til 8 at the earliest.

Is the handshaking mostly when your leg hurts?
You might need to find a good chiropracter to relieve pressure on nerves.
Be warned that most chiropracters want to sign you up for X number of sessions where lim X -> ∞.

At the risk of sounding like a worrywart, have you seen a doctor about it?

Well, this all just happened today - I've had pain like it before, but never for more than one day, and only once or twice every few months...
