I have a big nasty dark purple bruise on my thigh (tripped & fell on the front-door stairs the other night. It was dark, okay?). I mark so easily that it's ludicrous... most of the time I don't even know where the bruises come from...
Heh. You and me both, sistah. I get hellacious hickeys, too, that last for a week. ^_^ There's more than one reason I don't bother trying to cover them up...I have them entirely too often. All it takes for a blue mark on my hip is to bump into the corner of the desk.
Oh, gods, me too. It's the bane of having such fair skin. Well, one of the many banes, actually. *g*
Last night, while putting my hair in a ponytail, I noticed that I have a bruise on the underside of my upper right arm. I have NO idea where that came from. I have found, though, that when I whack something, if I immediately put pressure on the area and keep pressure on it for a couple of minutes, it seems to bruise much less noticably.
It's funny; I was about to write an entry about this. Oh well. I have about 8 or 9 bruises on my upper thighs right now. You'd think I'd remember getting those, right? Nope. No idea where they came from. As usual.

I bruise from playing patty cake. Honest. Little purple dots all over the tops of my thighs.
