I took the Kiersey test again, just killing time til lj user="yendi"> and Elayna get back from karate.

INFJ.

I've always tested as an INFP, but today, I'm an INFJ. It was very moderately expressed, the J, so maybe if I test again next week, I'll be a P again, who knows.

INFJ: Counselor Idealist; INFP: Healer Idealist, btw.

Where'd you find the test online? I've been looking for it....

[livejournal.com profile] amberfox had the same switch lately. It confused her, because she's *always* been INFP. I tell you the same thing I told her: that I used to waffle between INFJ and INFP on a regular basis, based only on my moods at the time. They're very similar mindsets, after all. Now, when I started testing INTJ, *that's* when I freaked out. I've been waffling between INFJ and INTJ lately, which is way weird.

I call the waffle you are currently undergoing INxJ, as I'm doing it myself.
Saturday, September 21st, 2002 10:22 am (UTC)
I am constantly switching between INTJ and INFJ myself (very moderately expressed), so I usually call myself an INxJ.

INFx, here. I generally test INFJ, but [personal profile] hotcoffeems insists that I'm really an INFP. She is also an INFJ.

Hmmmm. Those are supposed to be really unusual personality types, in the general population. So, is it that like minds gravitate towards each other, or just the fact that LJ itself is a screen of sorts? (Droid, an INTJ, feels no need to have a journal, because he doesn't feel the need to express his inner thoughts to anyone. My friend George doesn't have time for a journal, but if he did, he probably wouldn't bother because he does all that through talking to his friends in person...not sure what his personality type is, but extrovert definitely figures in there somewhere...)

The mailing list I met [livejournal.com profile] yendi on is comprised *mainly* on INFPs... a group that's supposed to constitute only 1% of the general population...

I used to be INFP consistently, every time I took the test. Lately though, I've been coming up INTP every now and then.

I'm a pretty solid ESTJ, at least at work. Occasionally I'll score as an ENTJ or ENTP, but I'm usually ESTJ: Realistic adapter in the world of material things: good-natured, tolerant, easygoing, oriented to practical, firsthand expierience, highly observant of details of things.

It's interesting how those things work. I think, really, I'm a different person at work than I am in my personal life.

I've never actually taken this test. Check that, I'm pretty sure we got it in high school, but I can't remember what I scored, much less what the scores mean. I shall hie me hence and taketh it right now.

Today, apparently, I am an ISTJ, the Inspector Guardian. Whatever that means...
Saturday, September 21st, 2002 01:36 pm (UTC)
go go gadget guardian!

LOL! I can't believe I missed that gag! Argh!
Saturday, September 21st, 2002 01:59 pm (UTC)
Weird, you waffle in the exact same way I do. I tend to get INFJ most of the time, and sometimes INFP.

It used to be INFP most of the time, though, but now it's INFJ most of the time.

It is normal to switch back and forth between letters like that - a lot of people are borderline on at least a couple of aspects.

I was just talking to my friend Sheri, who hasn't taken the test in 10 years, and she was shocked (and kind of upset) that her 'diagnosis' had changed in that time. Life experience and change in attitudes will change how you answer some questions; also, like others have said, it changes with the weather.

I'd say only be worried if every letter is different or if the description that follows is completely off-base ~ then you might want to go re-take the test!

Why is it y'all are INTROVERTS???? Am I like the only EXTROVERT on LJ??
Saturday, September 21st, 2002 09:54 pm (UTC)
Me too, I'm ENFJ, of course only N and J of these have remained constant from when I first took the test...
Saturday, September 21st, 2002 02:55 pm (UTC)
Hey, I think I was also INFP. But I could be wrong. If I were a J, I'd probably know for sure, eh?
Sunday, September 22nd, 2002 01:49 am (UTC)
The first time I took the test, I was INTP.
The last time I took the test, I was ESFJ.
I tend to waffle between the two, at least on the test I used to take. It had too many 'I think I'm too...' questions that could be answered either way depending on mood.

I usually score as an INFP, too, with leanings towards INFJ. I knew I liked you for a reason.
Well, besides that you're cute and geeky.
I demand you clone yourself for me!
Sunday, September 22nd, 2002 01:41 pm (UTC)
We should clone me. And you. And pretty much on my friends list. So we could repopulate the earth with extremely nifty people and gradually squeeze out the icky people.

So, I took the test and even wrote a post about it.
I came up as an xNFP. I only had 1 point in Extrovert, so it expressed rather weakly.
This came as no surprise to me: Champion/Healer Idealist. No. That doesn't sound like me at all.
