Supposed to have a Girl Scout meeting at 1. Have been waiting all week to hear from my co-leader so I know whether the meeting's on and when she'll be over. Not pleased about this, and neither are the moms who keep leaving me voicemail asking me about it, voicemail that I can't answer because I haven't heard from my co-leader...if things don't work out today, I think I should probably just return people's money and register Elayna as a Juliette, a solo Girl Scout. Which I hate to do, because she loves the social aspect of Girl Scouting, but I can't have a troop without a co-leader, and she's not going back to the troop she was at last year...

Yep, there is... they're big on Girl Scouting being "for every girl, everywhere", and sometimes there's just not a troop for miles and miles. It's always preferable to have your Scout in a troop, as most of the activities are very social, but it isn't mandatory.

Right, but when one knows that one is supposed to be planning for a meeting on Sunday, a return call or return e-mail saying "I'm sorry, I can't make it" would be appreciated...
