01. Your live journal "user name" & what it means: Shadesong. I'm 'splained this one before.... I came to "shadesong" from a variety of places. It's close enough to my True Name that I answer to it. Plus, my name is very close to the word for "song" in Hebrew, and a childhood friend used to call me his song; and shade = darkness, but the nurturing kind. I've used Shadesong online since the mid-90s.

02. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest) how well does your livejournal represent who you actually are?: I think it's about an 8 - you don't get a lot of the underlying stuff that supports who I am, but I think I'm very like this in person. People who know me in person? Opinions?

03. How much about your life do you post to lj?: Heh. About 95%.

04. Is there anything you refuse to post about?: I don't post my legal name, and there are some sexuality things I haven't posted...

05. On a scale of 1-10 how interesting do you think your own journal is to others?: See, I think it's about a 4, but people keep adding me, so I guess they disagree.

06. From who/how did you find out about lj?: yendi

07. Has anyone ever joined lj because of you?: Heh. How long you got? Seriously, I can trace I think about 20 people to me. Probably more.

08. What proportion of your posts are friends only?: Maybe 5%. I'm very candid.

09. What is your favorite interest on lj?: shayara, of course!

10. Has anything on lj ever caused you to establish, rethink, or even change your belief or position on something?: Contrary to popular belief, yes. :)

11. How often do you respond / comment on other peoples journals?: Not as often as I should! I do comment on friends' journals on a daily basis, but I don't respond to individual people as much as I ought to.

12. Do you prefer to write in your journal, read other journals?: Both, really, depending on mood.

13. Have you ever had something mean said to you or been stalked, harassed, or got into an argument/flame war on lj (or did it to someone else)?: Heh. Yes.

14. Have you ever banned someone from your journal?: Yes - two people. One for being a rapist, one for being cruel to my best chickfriend.

15. Who are your favorite lj friend(s) and why?: Oh, jeez. You can't ask me to answer that; that's not fair!

16. How many of your LJ friends have you actually met? 48. Wow, yeah, 48.

17. Of all of the people on lj you know of, who is the most like you?: Hrm. This is a hard one! yendi, mousegrrl, and iroshi are all very much like me in totally different ways.

18. Why are you most likely to add someone to your friends list?: Honestly? Because they add me. I've mostly given up on adding people, as I get added a lot and always do addbacks - it's like an experiment in human networking, and I'm loathe to tamper with it. Otherwise, if I meet in person and like someone, I add them.

19. Do you automatically add friends to your journal if they add you first?: Yes.

20. What is the most likely reason you wouldn't add someone to your friends list?: See banned usersabove...

21. Is your "significant other" on lj?: Yep! yendi.

22. Have you ever wanted to meet someone on lj?: You kidding? I want to meet all of you...
