Why did I just look for my pants in the pantry?

Seriously. Thought "Hm. To file in the basement, I must wear pants." Got up. Opened the pantry door and looked in, clearly expecting to find pants.

And if you look at it on the screen, it makes a sort of sense. Pants. Pantry.

And yeah, sometimes I think in text.

But clearly, sometimes I also think in Martian.

I'm going to pour myself another cup of coffee. Because I clearly need it. And then I'm going to go put on my pants. Which are in the bedroom. And then I'm going to go downstairs and file.

Yup.

I do that all the time. Well not look for my pants in the pantry. But look in the total wrong place for something. My mind goes, "We need to get this, hey, that cabinet/pantry/fridge/closet is close by, lets just open up that door and maybe by some quantum chance the item we need to get will be there."

And the silverwear have been in the same drawer since we moved into this apartment. However, at least twice a week, I open this other drawer on the opposite end of the kitchen to get silverware.

My brain is weird.

I'm a firm believer in quantam chance as it pertains to the finding of household objects.

See, I'm bad about loosing things too. I forget what I was looking for one night, but I was scouring the house hi and low for it. Well, as I was doing so, I had a bag of chips in my hand. At some point I look down and notice I no longer have the chips anymore either.

The problem was multiplied due to the fact that I had been all over the house looking for the first item, so the chips could have been anywhere.

I think eventually, I did find both items, however.
