Just e-mailed the profs and grad students their spring teaching schedules. It's a very dry form e-mail, cut-and-pasted with appropriate info inserted. Well, I have to send it to like 40 people. It is just:

"Your Spring 2003 teaching schedule is as follows:

(insert schedule)

The deadline for book orders is October 15th. Please send me your spring book order at your earliest convenience, and include all available information (title, author, ISBN). Also remember to let me know if you need a desk copy - if you do not request a desk copy, one will not be ordered for you!"

In response, I got this from [livejournal.com profile] jet_li_wannabe:

"That's funny, Your teaching schedule is

SM 069
"Making Naughty Undergrads Cry for Mommy"

MWF: 9-9:50
or whenever they're particularly bad."

*chuckle* *sigh* I do miss being a grad teaching assistance....or even better yet, a full fledged instructor...

What department?

Math/Computer Science; [livejournal.com profile] jet_li_wannabe's one of our math grad students. The best one. :)

hehe cool - 'twas Anthropology for me. I loved our department secretary - she got everything done in time, and without qualm. Apparently she wasn't well liked by most of the staff/grad students, but I'm like that *chuckle* she was always nice to me, and so I did whatever I could for her.

Wise people know that secretaries hold the real reins of power, and Must Be Appeased :-)

Heh... Mr. Wannabe has apparently forgotten that lowly undergrand cry for mommy every night. At least the first quarter freshmen do...
