Hello to new friends beck4664 and ne (whose party I might go to tomorrow, if it's cool with yendi...?)!

I think mightywombat's right - my journal has reached critical mass. I have no idea why I'm being added so much - I think I'm pretty boring!

And every so often, when I look at that userinfo page and see how big those numbers are getting... well, it's kinda intimidating. On the one hand, it's a rush - "All of these people like what I have to say!" And on the other hand... "Whoa... *all* of these *people*..."

There's many effects contributing at once. Highly non-linear.

reasons to add 'song
1) pure enjoyment of reading her posts
2) thought provoking (and feeling provoking) subject-matter
3) easiest place to meet other LJers
4) reliability of having something new to read with every "refresh" when playing refresh bunny. (You know you all do it!)
5) access to instantaneous net knowledge in 'song's replies to your own journal
6) best place to advertise yourself in comments to 'song's journal.

I'm sure there's at least 4 more, come on people, help out!
