Want to burn a Halloween CD. Want suggestions. So far:

Selections from "Haunted", by Poe
Selections from "Nightmare Before Christmas"
Lots of Oingo Boingo - "No One Lives Forever", "Dead Man's Party", "Insanity"
Concrete Blonde - "Bloodletting", "Ghost of a Texas Ladies' Man"

Give me more ideas! :)
Tuesday, October 29th, 2002 06:57 am (UTC)
Add "No Spilt Blood" to that Oingo list, of course!

And I'll just quote my email from yesterday:

Monster Mash (off Elayna's CD). Don't Fear the Reaper. Bad Moon Risin'.
Werewolves of London and Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner (gotta have
Warren), Ghostbusters, Ghost Riders in the Sky, I Drink Blood (Rocket from
the Crypt), most anything Rob Zombie, anything from Rocky Horror, anything
from Darkest of the Hillside Thickets, etc. Best way is probably to just go
through our CD collection.

Great songs!

Don't forget some of the super-hokey like "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" and the original "The Blob" themesong!
Tuesday, October 29th, 2002 07:08 am (UTC)
Anything from the first two My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult albums, pretty much. Especially the songs "Confessions of a Knife," "Daisy Chain for Satan," Heresy"...really almost anything off them. Oh, and most of the things off "Kooler than Jesus," and maybe the later songs "Dimentia 66," or "Portrait of the Damned"...

Uh, I really like MLWTTKK -- can you tell? You should definitely have some on any Hallowe'en mix.
Tuesday, October 29th, 2002 08:09 am (UTC)
Bring your albums, we'll play them!
Tuesday, October 29th, 2002 08:28 am (UTC)
What -- all of them? I have everything they've done. I'll bring select TKK albums.
Wednesday, October 30th, 2002 05:07 am (UTC)
Okay. :)
Tuesday, October 29th, 2002 07:28 am (UTC)
Inkubus Sukkubus...one or two vampire songs

Emerald Rose--Vampire Girl from the Planet Orn (not spooky, but funny as hell)

Wednesday, October 30th, 2002 05:06 am (UTC)
Thanks! :)
Tuesday, October 29th, 2002 07:29 am (UTC)
"Fire" - The Crazy World of Arthur Brown
Tuesday, October 29th, 2002 07:32 am (UTC)
Witchy Woman by the Eagles
Time Warp from RHPS
I Put a Spell on You
Thriller by Michael Jackson

Tuesday, October 29th, 2002 07:37 am (UTC)
Rasputin- Boiled in Lead
Tuesday, October 29th, 2002 07:51 am (UTC)
"Every Day is Halloween" by Ministry. Not spooky, but interesting nonetheless.

And, I'll second the motion for some Inkubus Sukkubus.

I'm a big fan of stuff like "Monster Mash"

Put some Misfits on there.

And Michael Jackson's "Thriller".

Some stuff from The Crow Soundtrack might not be a bad idea.

Of course, you need the Theme from Halloween.

Give me a moment or two and I'll find some more.

Of course, you need the Theme from Halloween.

I have the John Carpenter Theme song album, so we're covered (and other than Bad to the Bone from Christine, everything on it works for the party, many better than Halloween, even).
Tuesday, October 29th, 2002 08:28 am (UTC)
Oh - don't forget "Alice Cooper Goes To Hell"
Tuesday, October 29th, 2002 08:44 am (UTC)
I know it's heavy metal, but...

Pretty much any White Zombie (Rob is... I don't like it)

Union Underground - Turn Me On Mr. Dead Man

AC/DC - Highway to Hell

Metallica - Creeping Death / The Thing That Should Not Be / Four Horsemen

some lighter fare...

STP - Dead and Bloated

Warren Zevon - Werewolves of London

Santana - Black Magic Woman

CCR - Bad Moon Rising / Voodoo Woman (name?)

John Fogerty - Evil Thing / Eye of the Zombie

Anyone who references penguins in their username and lists "electric boogaloo" as an interest is cool by me - well met!

And - Boynton Beach? I grew up in Broward County; just moved to Atlanta from Pembroke Pines last year!

And Happy Halloween to you too; it's going to be a good day. :)

just moved to Atlanta from Pembroke Pines last year

Figures. That's the kind of timing I have.

You had at least a dozen things in your interests list that I seriously dig, but haven't added to my own. Buffy/Angel. Babylon 5. Most of the authors you mentioned.

I even run a spoiler site, spoilersluts.com. Mua ha ha ha. I'm evil. Eeeevil.
Thursday, October 31st, 2002 08:25 am (UTC)
Timing sucks. Would have been cool to get to hang out with you! Still, there's MegaCon, if you're as big a geek as I am...

Must got check spoilersluts out!
Thursday, October 31st, 2002 09:38 am (UTC)
I was at Megacon this year. There's a pic from us meeting Andy Hallett on my personal site, penguinboi.com. I usually try to hit that Megacon every year.
Thursday, October 31st, 2002 11:02 am (UTC)
I'm there every year! We've probably walked right past each other at some point. :)
Thursday, October 31st, 2002 11:07 am (UTC)
I looked like this:
http://penguinboi.com/images/ah2.jpg

I'm the one with the Mittens t-shirt and the green sweatery thing wrapped around his waist.

We probably did walk right past each other. I probably ogled you, as I'm known to ogle attractive women. ::grin::

That's what I look like usually. Don't have any pics of me at the Con; I allow photographs maybe once every few years!
Thursday, October 31st, 2002 11:21 am (UTC)
Yup. Damnably cute. I don't remember seeing you specifically, but that day was very cold and wet and crowded, and most of the in-con stuff is a blur.
Thursday, October 31st, 2002 12:02 pm (UTC)
Ach. No. I'm so uncute. :P
Friday, November 1st, 2002 12:32 am (UTC)
Well, I disagree. But what the heck do I know? I'm just a boy.
Tuesday, March 25th, 2003 11:54 am (UTC)
