Andy Hallett, who starred as Lorne ("the Host") on the TV series Angel, died of heart failure last night at age 33.
I only met him once, but I remember him as an absolute sweetheart of a guy. And... 33.
33.
Five-year battle with heart disease, apparently.
Sing a song for Lorne tonight, guys. Mine's Flogging Molly - "If I Ever Leave This World Alive".

There's a little less beauty in the world without his voice...

He had such a gorgeous voice.
And I'm reminded of reading Wil Wheaton's blog "I'm not Wesley Crusher."

I was just watching a scene with him in Angel the other day-- how--? What--? Oh, G-d, that's...dammit.
dedicated to Andy
(Wish I had footage from my high school production of Godspell, but this version is pretty nice.)

That is the most depressing thing ever. I actually just cried.

I've been watching Angel Season 2. Um, maybe tonight's not a good night to watch an episode...
*pats my heart* Stay healthy, okay? Please?
And now I hope Joss can dedicate the next episode of Dollhouse to Andy.
