I just sent the following e-mail to I think everyone who expressed an interest. If I missed you, or if you hadn't told me you were interested, let me know and I'll give you the details (redacted from this post)! Please tell me if we should expect you!
If you're getting this e-mail, you have expressed at least a faint interest in helping us move! You are awesome! Thank you!
Judah's picking up the truck at 10:00am; load-in starts at 10:30. If you're coming later than, say, noonish? You should call Adam to see whether you should come to the old house or the new house. His cell phone number is [redacted].
Old address: [redacted]
New address: [redacted]
Both in Watertown.
If you're taking the T, the recommended bus route is the 73 for the new house, the 73/71/70 for the old one.
Donuts and coffee will be provided at the old house. After load-out at the new house, we'll order pizza, as is traditional.
As for a general idea of what we're moving: obviously a hell of a lot of book boxes, which we have tried to pack reasonably. The big furniture consists of three beds, three dressers, three desks, a coffee table, a dining room table + chairs, lots of lightweight but bulky bookcases, and a loveseat (Judah is disassembling the couch as we speak). All bedroom doors at the new house will be marked with the first initial of the person they belong to. One room will have the cats within it and a bookcase in front of it, possibly with a sign reading "beware of leopard".
Thank you all so, so much!

Good Luck with the Move!
Re: Good Luck with the Move!
Wish I could help with the move, but between current carlessness and my morning Saturday statistics session I wouldn't be able to make it.

Hopefully you will not be a raving lunatic at 2 am wandering from your old house to the new one having left the last of the furniture you cannot take with you on the curb.
