What are you wearing?
Bottom to top: Black ankle boots, black socks, carpenter jeans, squooshy dark blue chenille sweater. Hair in pigtails. Usual jewelry.

What is your usual jewelry, anyway?
Rings on left hand: Silver claddagh, mood ring (the Vidicon's Harem ring), two slim silver rings stacked atop each other: top one has "try", "make", "express", and "accept" engraved on it. Bottom has "magic", "love", "peace", and "joy" on it; they turn to make phrases...
Rings on right hand: Faceted smokey quartz, double-layered silver band of Celtic knotwork, and faceted garnet (my only piece of gold jewelry).
On left wrist: My Until There's A Cure bracelet, and a silver cuff engraved on the inside with "One Day at a Time".
On right wrist: An Eeyore watch with a leather band.
Current necklace: Dark smokey quartz beads with silver spacers.

What are you reading?
At lunch: Touch, by murnkay. Next in the queue: Modern Magic by merovingian and Plan B by Sharon Lee and Steve Miller - a Liaden book.
At home: Kushiel's Dart by Jacqueline Carey, lent to me by murnkay.

The only jewelry that I wear is my coin, strung from a leather thong around my neck. The face of it has a crescent moon and a morning star; while it's often mistaken as an Islamic symbol, all it does is represent the dawning hours/night's end, which is when I thrive the most. The rear bares the I-ching symbol, reprenting my ultimate goal of attaining harmony within, and harmony without.


Currently, Sweat by vidicon, and re-reading my novel for corrections and such. After Sweat, I get back to my Robert Aspin Phule series.

Cuz when I signed on with LJ, some aschehole had already used 'elfman', but wasn't doing anything with it. Still isn't, in fact. If'n'when I decide to get a pay account, I might consider talking to elfman to see if they were willing to give it up.

Bottom to top: Brown cowboy boots (what else); blue jeans, brown custom belt with large Masonic belt buckle; white/black/denim long-sleeved western shirt; winter cowboy hat (XXXX beaver, brown), usual jewelry.

Rings on left hand: hammered gold wedding band, white-gold and gold 'Lover's knot' ring. I left the white-gold Celestial Dragon at home.
Rings on right hand: my great uncle's gold Masonic ring (plain w/Square & Compasses). I left the silver dragon, SR class ring, and white-gold ankh at home.
Left wrist: gold and silver Rolex watch.
Right wrist: bare. I left my silver cloud (N.A.) bracelet at home.
Current necklace: heavy stainless steel with brass 'coin' pendant bearing stag's face on front and green-man face on the back.

I don't think I'd change it - Shadesong seems too appropriate for you. The only thing I could come up with was Hotlanta Babe, which is a very poor showing for me 'cause I'm normally very good about making up new names for people ... but I don't have my usual resources with me at the moment

I'm wearing my winter boots, black denim leggings and a royal blue fuzzy sweater. Oh, and my glasses.

My jewelry consists of my wedding set. I sometimes wear earrings but not often. I sometimes wear a collar, but that's not very kid-pc, so it doesn't happen often.

I'm reading nothing at the moment. I need to find a good book.

I'd change my LJ username to Dorei, but someone has it and doesn't use it. They don't let you take names of diaries that have been deleted. Pity.
