Y'know what I want?

I want a charm bracelet! I can fill it with charms to represent people I love, and parts of myself...a charm for me as a mother, as a lover, as a writer...charms for Elayna and yendi and mightywombat and all of my friends.... Oh, I want. A tangible reminder of who and what I am, and the love that surrounds me, chiming on my wrist as I go through my day. :)

Auntie Marjorie (no relation to me, my Granny's best friend who became "Auntie" in that weird way that folk do) used to have a charm bracelet, all in gold, it must have had 30 or 40 charms on it, big heavy thing and it fascinated me as a child. So I got given a silver charm bracelet of my own, but didn't have anyone to give charms to me, and never thought of adding them to mark occasions or anything... its a lovely idea though, even if highly impractical to actually go around wearing! :)
