So Mike was going to take Elayna to the zoo tomorrow (we have no day care coverage this week). But he told me Saturday that he has to pick friends up from the airport tomorrow, so he'll take her to the zoo Wednesday. Which leaves me with no coverage for tomorrow, and I specifically told my boss we were covered for tomorrow. Not Mike's fault - he's still taking her for a day, which is a tremendous favor. I just wish I hadn't told the boss that I had tomorrow covered. And we can't seem to reach Kelly to ask if she can babysit. So it looks like I'm going to have to bring her into the office tomorrow as well as Friday, which is So Not Good. And I'm going to have to miss my PTSD doc appointment, because I cannot bring her to that (I get grilled about my Trauma at every session). Shit.

I know the feeling. My boss gets frustrated every time I have to leave to pick up a sick kid from daycare. It really wouldn't be a problem if more empoloyers offered daycare facilities--that their own employees could actually afford.

My boss won't actually say anything about it, but the Big Boss will *really* not like it. It's not as bad as I thought, though - [livejournal.com profile] yendi can watch her from noon on. I just have to have her in the morning. But still.
