Guess what we found in storage here at work?

Three original Apple Macintosh computers! From the 80s! Fully functional! We hooked one up and played Wheel of Fortune on it!

Oh, they're so cute! We're each taking one to use as office decor.

Hee. Back in highschool, a couple of us took one apart, hollowed it out, lopped off the top, and put it back together. A bit of sealing later, it made a neat fishbowl. ;)

i love my little SE-30. if i didn't think that it had a serious physical problem with it somewhere (causing it to occasionally spontaneously crash), i'd trick it out with all kinds of modern bells and whistles.

i remember when i saw my first Mac; i was fascinated.

Lizard bought an Apple IIe when i was dating him back in the mid 80s. he gave it to Plunder in 1992 before he moved to Raleigh. she finally got rid of it last year...

We have an SE that was used solely as a zork console. It only had zork on it, alias in the startup folder.
It is now (as a visual joke) used as a door stop for our hall door.
Our house is very breezy in the summer and the door slams shut without our dependable Mac SE doorstop.
