The visit from a friend that I'd been really looking forward to isn't going to happen. The friend has decided to go "hook up" with someone they've never met in another state instead.

I'm just really sad about this. I was *so* excited all last week, since they said they were visiting. I told all of my Atlanta friends. I so wanted to show this person off to everyone. *sigh*

No friend-bashing comments, please. I'm not angry, I'm just sad, and I still love my friend, so don't be mean. And if you think you know who it is, you're most likely wrong, so don't post hypotheses or anything.

Just sad now.
