A year ago last week, I moved to Atlanta. Much has changed since then.... got a job, gained some weight (feh), starting to get some friends, started writing again. I think it's been a pretty good year.

Elayna adapted not only to a new house, new "housemate", and new school, but an entirely different *type* of schooling... and she's totally flourished.

And I'm acclimating. Slowly but surely. I know it doesn't seem like it on LJ, but I really do have difficulty making friends.... I'm socially inept! So it feels good that I'm starting to build this circle of friends. :)

Goals for my next year here... keep working on friendships, start really exercising, get Elayna into swimming lessons, and buckle down and start churning out Shayara scripts!

Okay, so I ripped that off of some old comedy show. No idea which one. I always thought it appropo though...
