Physically? I tend to prefer men bigger and taller than me for the most part, but I don't generally get involved with people based on physicality.

I've known two people in my life whose pure sexual "oomph" I absolutely cannot explain. One of them was a woman who had such an astonishingly magnetic personality that being attracted to her had zip to do with gender preference or anything else I'd normally consider. Charisma, I suppose?

The other was a guy I knew in high school, and to this day I canonly think it was sheer pheromones. I never encountered one female who was immune to them, including me - and I didn't even LIKE him that much as a person. I ask all that's holy that whatever it was is never bottled and sold.

I honestly can't say -- every time I've ever sat down and attempted to list "sexy" traits, I found there were too many exceptions to every rule I have. It's a combination of physical, emotional, mental, and other traits, but I still haven't figured out the exact formula.

passion about anything is the core of sexiness. but if i were to expound (as i'm going to), i'd say being able to slowwwwwww down and be passionate about the senses. that's sexiness on an active and immediate level. if that makes any sense. muah.

Wit, intelligence, cruelty (because I am a massochist), selfishness (ditto), earth-mothery bodies (big breasts, big butt, wide hips, fat tummy), eccentricity (normal people are too dull to be sexy), sensuality.

I don't know... for me it's always the combo of random traits that hits me as dead sexy. What I find appealing in one person can annoy me no end in someone else. There are so many things that I can and do find sexy about people though. Amusement, drawn from themselves and others. Tenderness, tempered with other stuff. A sense of joy or happiness, that can draw me in. And I'm really a very tactile person, so I guess touching and liking to be touched is high up on my list...

Intangibles: A questing intellect, depth (i.e., having feelings or thoughts about things; not just *knowing* stuff, but caring about it too), eclectic interests, intense focus. Ability to read out loud a definite advantage. Appreciation for art, literature, music, and movies also increase desirability.

Physical stuff: Tall, slender-but-strong, dark-haired, fair-skinned, light-eyed men who look good in slightly baggy jeans and slouchy sweaters. Strong, slender hands also a plus. I also go for the unstuffy-academic look (which explains why I found two of my college profs droolworthy).

Dang it, not a nice thing to make me think about in the middle of the afternoon, especially when all that's waiting for me at home is the Fortress of Solitude.

Intensity is probably the biggest one for me. Intensity and enthusiasm.

Physically, I can't deny the huge attraction to long hair, full breasts, and an open, pleasant countenance. I don't care much for the dusky sultry look, or people who go out of their way to try to look sexy. Though people who can wear sexy clothes without seeming like it's an attempt to look sexy ARE sexy. My wife and gf can both wear corsets or bodices and look like it is just something they happen to have on even when they're a quarter inch from showing enough flesh to get arrested :)
