Self-conscious

Now that my attention has been drawn to the fact that I have a writing style - the minimalism thing - I worry that I'll be hyperconscious of it, go too minimalist. At the expense of story.

I'm just kinda hyperaware of it.

Did a little placesyouhaunt writing over lunch. This is the second day in a row that I've gone home for lunch! Peanut butter sandwich, Oreos, peace and quiet. And a little wedge of time to write, when there's no pressure to be doing anything else and I won't be ignoring my kid.

It is good to have a break.

My particular concern with placesyouhaunt is that it's wandering out of me scene by scene, and I don't know if an overarching feel is being communicated...
