Did lunch with yendi and Mike, for Mike's birthday! Park Bench. Had red meat; first time in probably a month. Managed to eat about 2/3 of the burger. We discussed our summer gaming plans and are really not that much closer to figuring out what we want to play, partly because I'm having a spacy day.

Other than that, nothing. I have a headache. *whimper* And I wanna go home.

And I finished The Widening Gyre before lunch today... and I'm so *excited* for John. He wrote a book, a whole big book, and it's really really good, and he took his vision and set it on paper and now it's *out there*.

Got the school newsletter today, and saw that they were thinking of forming a third Brownie troop, and that they needed leaders. So I volunteered. Yay for getting the hell away from the idiot troop leader! And I'm also volunteering on the PTA to chair th e book fairs, and yendi's volunteering tech support.
