Hello to new reader
navitas2003!
Medical
Lyrica-wise, I'm okay - final bump-up tomorrow.
Fibro-wise, I'm not okay. Overworked myself like whoa this weekend.
FYI to Atlantans
Yard sale at my place on Saturday, October 14. Books! Games! Stuffed animals! Clothes! All manner of crap we picked up over the years thinking we'd use and haven't! If we haven't used something in the 2 1/2 years we've been in this house, and it doesn't have big eBay potential, come pick it up for cheap.
Daily Science
To the list of wonders of the ancient world, perhaps another should be added: nanotechnology. It seems that a hair-dye formula dating to Greek and Roman days works by causing tiny nanocrystals to form deep inside strands of hair.
Daily BPAL
Cockaigne: “The weather is always mild, the wine flows freely, sex is readily available, and all people enjoy eternal youth.” The Land of Plenty, also called Luilekkerland – the Lazy, Luscious Land: milk and honey, sweet cakes and wine.
In bottle: Ooooh. Sweet.
kissmythistle compared it to Mitzvah, and that comparison is clearer when in the bottle, though it may smell like Mitzvah on someone else's skin. On mine...
On me: Wet, this is Drink Me's lighter little sister - which delights me, because Drink Me is sometimes too heavy to wear. But this has the luscious foody sweetness that makes me smile. Dry... people disagree. Everyone smells something different, but everyone agrees that it smells wonderful. Honey cakey lightly-spicy sweet - baked goods. Cinnamon rolls. The woman at Two Six swore she smelled pumpkin. This has throw like whoa - I wave my arms when I talk, and according to KMT, whenever I do, this lusciousness just wafts out from me. Thank goodness this isn't an LE. It's a new 'song signature scent!
Caliban: The scent of the salty seas, bittersweet wine, palm and tropical ferns.
In bottle: The greenest green that ever greened!
On me: Yep. That's green. That's really, really green. Green like crushing juicy plant stems between your fingers. Did I mention that it's green?
...and as it dries down, the saltwater comes out, and now it's the dipping of the karpas at Pesach. Huh.
