* Stayed home today to give body a much-needed rest.

* Cleaned bathroom and nightstand drawers.

* Not so good at this resting thing.

* At least I wrote a little bit last night. Like I said to [livejournal.com profile] ewin, I was surprised that Telenias came out at all - he's very guarded - and I was surprised that he gave me that, a very vulnerable moment for him.

* I'm really tired of being tired all the time.

* Appointments I need to make: yearly (1/31 8:45 AM), mammogram (2/6 3 PM), GI consult (1/31 1 PM). Should see neuro. Staying away from neuro, as neuro will refuse to change anything, and this will only piss me off. EDIT: Got corrected proton pump inhibitor prescription called in.

* Now that I have done some house stuff, I can feel okay about resting, so I'm going to.

* After resting.... anyone want snippets re: any particular characters or places?

* EDIT: What I want for my birthday, besides a job in Boston for Adam: iPod speakers and a Hitachi Magic Wand.

I overdid it waysuperbad yesterday :(

Today I need to rest *sigh* But, stuff to DO.
Tuesday, January 24th, 2006 03:47 pm (UTC)
There's ALWAYS stuff to do...is there anything that you can put off until tomorrow?

I wish you & 'song wouldn't push yourselves so hard - but I understand the feeling that you have to do it. Your brain doesn't let you rest otherwise.

Part of the problem is that I can't sit still. People have compared me to a buzz saw. If I do? I just sit and process the stuff I have to do in my head. I sit there and go "It'll only take me like ten minutes!" Getting up and doing it is easier.

The stuff I do isn't really anything I shouldn't be able to do. That's where the frustration lies.

Part of it is too, I never really know what my day will be like and what my energy levels will allow. So, I push and keep pushing until I collapse. Then I find my line.

Exactly!

I so know the feeling...

I'd like a cast of current characters, and little snippets about each of them. Either in Shayara as it is today, or in Nanosong, at the point of the story you've reached so far.

Hitachi Magic Wand ROCKS!
Tuesday, January 24th, 2006 03:47 pm (UTC)
Johnathan! ;}

I'd also love to see you take up [livejournal.com profile] nanosong again, but not until you're ready.

If you need to write after resting...

Can you get into the head of one of the Hounds?
Tuesday, January 24th, 2006 04:33 pm (UTC)
I don't know that there'd be much there...but it would be interesting to see what might me.
Tuesday, January 24th, 2006 05:08 pm (UTC)
True. I just wondered who created the first Hound, and how they came up with the idea of using them for control of the population.

I couldn't remember if Shadesong had covered it before, and I'm sort of interested in first causes.

I beleive that the Council created them, or atleast accepted them when Jeramie and Jonas presented them to act as bodyguards for the Council. They're a very new thing in Shayara.

[livejournal.com profile] crisavec's right, save that he transposed some vowels (Janos, not Jonas), and that it was Janos and Stephen's project. (Stephen = Alanna et al's father.)

Hm. I could try to write up a Janos/Stephen thing about this.
Wednesday, January 25th, 2006 01:50 pm (UTC)
Hm.

There's not much *there*, is all.

Obey their Councillor; above that, obey their Master. Kill when commanded. Even the sexual impulses have been excised.

I totally read that iPod sneakers. What a shame it was just in my brain!
Tuesday, January 24th, 2006 05:20 pm (UTC)
Not that I would know but I hear there are some, interesting, attachements for the I-pod, similar in use the the Hitachi.

* I'm really tired of being tired all the time.

I second that!
